Disney Gift Cards Unveils TRON-Inspired Technology

Inspired by the high-tech, 3D-adventure film, we have added a cool new feature to “TRON: Legacy” Disney Gift Cards. All TRON cards sold at Disney Parks will include a “QR” code on the back. A “QR” or “quick response” code is a two-dimensional bar code that can be read by taking a picture of it on your mobile device.
You need to have the software, but QR Readers are usually free and available for download right to your handset. It’s worth downloading because more and more companies are using QR code technology to deliver interesting content to you via your mobile phone.
Once read, this code will cleverly take you directly to the official “TRON: Legacy” website where you can learn all about the movie which hits U.S. theaters December 17, 2010, in Disney Digital 3D™ and IMAX® 3D. The “TRON: Legacy” Disney Gift Card will be available for purchase at Disney Parks starting today!

40th anniversary of Disneyland - Collector Cards
To commemorate the 40th anniversary of Disneyland, Disney created a series of 41 collector cards, one for each year the park had been open. A card for each year represented an event or an attraction. The cards were handed out to visitors to the park starting with the "1955" card on January 21,1995 and ending March 2, 1995 with the "1995" card.

Disney's Pirate Watch
Today we'll start the post with this video :-D
Started in January 2007, the event was created after cast members at the park saw many children dressed either as pirates or princesses at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, another ticketed event held in September and October throughout 2004's events. Because of that, Walt Disney World decided to create a new event, which took two years of planning.
Each of the lands within the Magic Kingdom is centered to the theme related to royalty and piracy.
